Overview
BizCard is built with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. The app operates entirely on your device with no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
Data Storage
All of your data — including links, QR codes, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
App Group Sharing
BizCard uses an App Group container to share data between the main app, the Home Screen widget, and the Share Extension. This is a local-only mechanism provided by Apple and does not involve any network transmission. The shared data remains entirely on your device.
Network Requests
BizCard makes one type of network request: fetching website favicons. When you add a link, the app may request the favicon from Google's favicon service (https://www.google.com/s2/favicons) to display an icon next to your link. This is the only network activity the app performs. No personal data is sent with this request — only the domain of the URL you added.
No Data Collection
BizCard does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or diagnostics. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your data.
No Accounts
BizCard does not require or offer user accounts. There is no sign up, no login, and no authentication of any kind. You start using the app immediately with no registration.
No Third-Party SDKs
BizCard does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks.
Children's Privacy
Because BizCard does not collect any data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children or any other users.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Since BizCard does not collect any data, we do not have a way to notify you directly — please check this page periodically.
